Luis Diaz is happy with life in Liverpool and has no desire to push move away from the club, the report revealed.
Diaz is approaching the final two years of his contract at Anfield and reports have suggested that talks over an extension have proved problematic, not least because Barcelona have signaled their desire to strike a deal for the Colombia international.
It was even recently claimed that Diaz rejected an extension offer from Liverpool due to his desire to join Barcelona but, according to Florian Plettenbergthat is not the case.
Despite intense competition for minutes on LiverpoolDiaz is enjoying life under Arne Slot and is not believed to have spoken to another club about a possible transfer.
Liverpool are expected to continue talks over an extension and may have to give Diaz a significant pay rise considering he remains on the same terms he agreed when he joined from Porto in the summer of 2022.
Diaz has established himself as a key figure on Sloto’s side. Deployed both out wide and as a centre-forward, he has already scored 11 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions, including two goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s 6-3 win this weekend.
