Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Athens, added 0.59%.
The best performers of the session were Elactor SA (AT: ), which rose 9.64% or 0.19 points to trade at 2.16 at the close. Meanwhile, HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings SA (AT:) added 3.76% or 0.27 points to end at 7.46 and Dimand Societe Anonyme for Real Estate Constructions (AT:) was up 3.25% or 0. 26 points to 8.26 at the end of trading.
The worst performers of the session were Iktinos Greece (AT: ), which declined 2.38% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.33 at the close. Ekter (AT:) declined 2.20% or 0.04 points to end at 1.78 and Cars Motorcycles and Marine Engine Trade and Import Company SA (AT:) declined 2.04% or 0.06 points to 2 ,63.
On the Athens Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 73 to 45, and 22 ended unchanged.
Gold futures for February delivery fell 0.74%, or 19.61, to $2,634.29 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in February rose 1.05% or 0.73 to $70.35 a barrel, while the March Brent crude contract rose 0.93% or 0.68 to 73 .53 dollars per barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% at 1.04, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.31% at 0.83.
US dollar index futures fell 0.12% to 107.76.
