Cincinnati Bengals agreed with four -year extensions with the recipients of Ja’marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
The drive will make the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, earning $ 161 million, including $ 112 million guaranteed, while Higgins will get $ 115 million, as he reported Fox Sports.
Last season, Chase led the league in receptions (127), the yards receiving (1,708) and Touchdown catch (17). There was only a sixth wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to achieve a triple crown of income.
Bengals’ director of player Duke Tobin staff said recently in the NFL scouting combination that he wanted to make Chase one of the highest paid players in the league.
“Ja’marr will always be a priority for us,” Tobin said. “He’s a fantastic footballer. In the end, there will be an unpaid non-quarterback in the league. We are there. Let’s do that.”
Chase leads the league in receiving Touchdown (46), the third in receiving yard (5,425) and sixth in receptions (395), since the fifth is the total choice and AP offensive rookie year 2021.
The first time was the All-Pro selection 2024 after three games with at least 10 catch and 177 meters. This included 11 catch for 264 Jardes and three Touchdown at a loss of 35-34 in Baltimore.
Higgins was tied to the sixth in the league with 10 captures last season. He also had 73 admission for 911 yards and an average of 12.5 yards per cap.
His best game last season was against Denver, when he had 11 admission at 131 yards and three Touchdowns.
“You can retire three years ago, talking about the long-term agreement with Tee and here we are today, we are still talking about the long-term agreement,” Tobin said. “Whenever I’m in charge of the football team, I want Tee Higgins and so I’ll do everything I can to get Tee Higgins.”
