UFC News: Conor McGregor teases ‘Important Meeting’ in Washington

UFC Fighter Conor McGregor He seemed to go to Washington early Monday, DC, because of what he called “the most important meeting” regarding the “future of Ireland”.
Meeting falls on St. Patrick’s Day and comes just a week after the Irish fighter supplemented President Donald Trump During a visit to the oval office by the Irish Prime Minister.

McGregor, 36, shared a cryptic post early on Monday morning on his social media, announcing his immediate arrival in Washington.

“Soon I land in Washington to the most important meeting of his countries [sic] future. I am ready outside, “his post on X read.
“The world will hear Ireland calling.”
McGregor did not say whether he would meet with the president or would appear at the White House. His post, however, included the flag of Ireland and the United States.

Fox News Digital addressed the White House for comment.

Just last week during an official visit Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Trump talked highly about the decorated UFC fighter.
“I accidentally like your fighter. He has the best tattoos I’ve ever seen … Conor is great,” Trump told reporters in an oval office.
“Ireland has always had a lot of good fighters. You know why? Because they are heavy people, they are smart people and are passionate people.”

The nature of McGregor remained a mystery on Monday, but he had previously talked about his desire to enter the political area.

In September he teased the potential presidential running In Ireland, Calling yourself a “only logical choice”.
“As a president, I hold the power to call Dáil, as well as dissolve him,” he wrote in a post on X, in a reference to the branch of Irish legislative body. “As I said before, I would have all the answers that people of Ireland seek from these work man’s thieves, these disorders of the family unit, these destructors of small businesses, on and on and on and on!”
“People from Ireland deserve the answers they are looking for. The point empty. This would be my power as president. I know very well. Ireland needs an active president who is fully employed by Ireland. That’s me. I am the only logical choice. 2025 is coming …”
