The authorities posted a recording of the 911 call after four students of the University of Idah in November 2022.

DM was previously identified as the only eyewitness that saw the intruder – describing him as a masked man “thunder eyebrows. ”

Kohberger was allegedly identified through DNA from the knife sheath that was lagging behind at the scene, under Mogen’s body. He was followed in Pennsylvania on December 30, 2022, where he was arrested by state police at his parents’ house.

After Kohberger failed to challenge the methods that the FBI in that case aligned with DNA evidence, prosecutors suggested that he plans to claim that his DNA pattern was planted and framed.

His trial should start on August 11. Prosecutors plan to seek a death penalty if he was convicted.
