According to court documents, one of Chapin’s friends revealed A terrible scene and sent others to call 911. Several people talked to the dispatcher. The police arrived in less than 5 minutes.
“One of our … one of the roommates was betrayed, and she was drunk last night, and she doesn’t wake up,” the caller says to the dispatcher. “Oh, and last night they saw a man in their house.”

When the Dispener 911 asked for a phone number from which the woman called, one can hear him asking another person: “What is your phone number?”
The telephone number was redesigned from the audio recording.
The woman pauses to talk to a few others in the background throughout the call, which encouraged the shipper 911 to ask her to stop passing the phone of other people.

DM was previously identified as the only eyewitness that saw the intruder – describing him as a masked man “thunder eyebrows. ”
Kohberger was allegedly identified through DNA from the knife sheath that was lagging behind at the scene, under Mogen’s body. He was followed in Pennsylvania on December 30, 2022, where he was arrested by state police at his parents’ house.

After Kohberger failed to challenge the methods that the FBI in that case aligned with DNA evidence, prosecutors suggested that he plans to claim that his DNA pattern was planted and framed.
The referee did not blame for all charges on his behalf on his pretext in May 2023.
His trial should start on August 11. Prosecutors plan to seek a death penalty if he was convicted.
