IPL 2025: "There will be disrespect …" -Dwayne Bravo remembers SMS -A Gautam Gambhir after joining KKRK
The Knight Rider mentor from Kolkat Dwayne Bravo revealed that he had sent SMS Gautama Gambhira after getting into the role. Bravo also talked about how different from gambhira, but both are successful on their own.
Dwayne Bravo was named Mentor Knight Riders in Kalcuta last year after Gautam Gambhir left her role after his appointment to the main coach of India. Bravo was also a Chennai Super Kings bowling coach in the 2023 and 2024 season IPL.

As he spoke at a press conference, Dwayne Bravo assured that the franchise would continue to do good things from last season that helped them become champions. He also discovered a team plan on the auction team.
“It will be disrespectful not to try some good things he did last season, but the core of the team is still there, and that was our responsibility to return to the auction and do our best to return as more players from the winning team of the championship,” Bravo said.

Dwayne Bravo also illuminated his relationship with Gautama Gambhir and how he contacted him after becoming a mentor. Former versatile West Indies claimed he wanted to trust his coach and captain for winning matches.
“I think Gg (Gautam Gambhir) has its own style, I have my own style. We are both successful in my own ways. I said it several times. I will lean a lot on those guys (captain and coach) because they had a successful formula, and it is important that we follow that,” he added.
Ajinkya Rahane is Captain KKR this season after Shreyas Iyer is sold to the Punjab Kings. Rahane is very experienced and led India and his local team Mumbai. Chandrakant Pandit is the main coach of the team.
In addition to working at IPL, Dwayne Bravo also holds a mentor to post for the Knight Riders franchise in MLC, International League T20 and the Caribbean Premier League.

With Gautam Gambhira as their mentor, Kolkat Knight Riders won the IPL 2024 title. It was their third IPL title ever, and the first in the decade. Gambhir played a big role, and some of his decisions proved to be the ones that change the game.
KKR will begin its IPL 2025 campaign against the Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) in Eden Gardens, Kolkat, March 22. Defense champions will ask to continue their top -notch form from last season.
