PCB is bankrupt after the champion of Trophy 2025; takes this frightening step against the cricket
The Pakistani Cricket Committee (PCB) allegedly reduced domestic players’ fees in the country despite spending an unprecedented amount of money on other things related to the administration.
PCB recently spent millions of dollars on the renovation of three stadiums in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi, where the champion trophy was played. However, reducing domestic players’ fees are asking questions due to their preferences.
PCB reduces home player matches
According to the PTI, PCB has reduced the fees for players participating in the upcoming T20 National Championship, which is a home tournament in Pakistan. The tournament will start from March 14 in Faisalabad.
The match fees were reduced with 100,000 PKR per match to only PKR 10,000 per game. Players to reservation will be paid PKR 5,000 per match now and tPlayers will not be happy with their wages that are reduced this way and remains to be seen whether any action against the committee will happen.
The report also says that Abdullah Khurram Niazi, the head of the domestic cricket in Pakistan, is constantly reduced in the last few months for domestic cries.
The source also claimed that the accommodation of players was also changed, and now they live in cheaper hotels compared to living in five -star hotels before.
“The players who first offered accommodation in five-star hotels is four stars are now offered cheaper accommodation. For them, air trips have been reduced, except for fees,” the source by PTI quoted.
Mentors and administrators are still paid to a large extent
While the salaries of players are reduced, the mentors of the five teams of Champions Cup and national selectors continue to enjoy great benefits from PCB. Five mentors Misbah-ul-haq, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Malik, Sarfarazza Ahmed and Saqlain Mushtaq are paid PKR 5 million PKR a month.
Last season paying home -made crisis is yet to be cleaned for players and judges. The Pakistani Committee is yet to be carried out by an annual pension scheme for former Test Crite Currents in the country.
Bad times for cricket Pakistan
Pakistan Crket goes through one of its worst times. In just four days, the team bent off the champion trophy after losing their first two matches in New Zealand and India.
Their failure to qualify for semi -finals even though the hosts have attracted a lot of anger from former crisis and fans in the country. The players were brutally scored for their performances, and the board also faced the fall of Pakistani Crizko.
The controversy also appeared recently after the Trophy 2025 champion finals, when no representative from Pakistan was present on stage for the presentation ceremony after the victory of India. PCB decided to complain to the ICC in connection with this issue and obviously was upset by such behavior.
