‘Man ud will never die’

Ruben Amorim admitted that Manchester United fans have the right to feel frustrated with some of the negative tactics shown at the beginning of Sunday 1-1 with Arsenal.
United was terribly surpassed in the first half, but he managed to enter the interval 1-0 in front of the late free kick by Bruno Fernandes, which helped to alleviate the increasing frustration within Old Trafford. Fans had a protest against glaze before the start and were satisfied only when United appeared in the second half to take the game to Arsenal.
“When you train Manchester UnitedYou can’t play like that, “he admitted to Amorim after the last whistle.” But the idea is to win the game, not just to show the fans something.
“We tried to imagine one way to win the game in this context. I know it’s frustrating as a fan. Sometimes we have to do things that are not popular. In the end we need points.
“I think this club will never die, it’s clear. You feel it on the streets, not just in the stadium. This is a big job and maybe all fans throughout the league feel harder to go into the game and pay tickets. We get a lot of money in the Premier League and they have to resolve it.
“It’s a difficult situation, so we want to put a lot of effort. In the future we won’t play that way.”
United’s low block was not a popular scene, but Amorim urged fans to accept the reality of dealing with a team like Arsenal in the current state of red devils.
“That’s the opponent,” he continued. “The last match before the Champions League was high pressure from PSV, a man to a man, and harder to mark in this way.
“In a low block we can better control the game this way. And we have players who are good in transition. I mean [Alejandro] Garnacho played a really good game. He was amazing today.
“We tried to choose the best moments for pressure. We had a chance to win the game today.”
