Homeland Security Secretary Christ Harmless She served the new director and deputy director who led the American immigration and customs implementation (ICE) while working to restore the culture of results and responsibility under the administration of President Donald Trump.
Noem announced the meetings on Sunday, saying that Todd Lyons will be the acting director of ICE, and Madison Sheahan will perform the post of Deputy Director ICE.
“For the last four years, our brave men and women have been forbidden to do their jobs – it takes a culture of responsibility that he has been starving under the management of Biden,” Noem said. “Todd Lyons and Madison Sheahan are working horses, strong executors and responsible leaders who will lead men and women of ice to achieve the mandate of the American people for targeting, arresting and deporting illegal foreigners.”
In a press release, Homeland Security said Lyons currently works as an acting director for the implementation and removal of ice (ERO).

He served in various other roles within an ICE, including assistant director of the ERO field operation, where he had previously monitored all 25 field offices and domestic operations around the USA, Lyons worked as a director of ERO (FOD) at the Boston Field Office, where he monitored ERO activities in Massachusetts, Maine.
Lyons began his career in the Federal Service in 1993 as a member of the US Air Force, and in 1999 he entered the implementation of civil laws in Florida. Lyons joined Ero as an LED agent in Dallas, Texas in 2007.
Sheahan and Noem have worked together in the past, although recently the new deputy director of ICE was the secretary of the Divili Animal Department and Fisheries in Louisiani, where she monitored the $ 280 million budget and led a team of over 800 wildlife employees, fisheries and executive divisions.

She helped the establishment of a special surgery group within the implementation department, which sets the priority for public security through historical partnerships with federal, state and local agencies for law enforcement when major events such as Mardi Gras and Super Bowl take place in Big Easy.
Sheahan also advised Vlad Louisiane Jeff Landry in her role.
Previously, she worked for the then government government of Dakota Noem in various leadership positions, including the State Republican Party and a special initiative aimed at progressing the NOEM’s agenda.

Sheahan and Lyons did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comments on their new positions.
Noem served as Governor of South Dakota From January 2019 to January 2025, when she swore as the chief of the principal head of the State Homeland Security Department.
She was the fourth member of the Trump administration that received the approval from the Senate and leads the department at the time when securing the border and solving struggles illegal immigration are the main priorities for the new administration.

The administration has taken a series of border insurance activities, including arranging an army, restarting wall structures and completion of probation programs from the Biden era.
