The National Cricket team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma faced a national cried at New Zealand under the leadership of Mitchella Santner in the finals of the ICC champion Trophy 2025.

Rohit Sharma further shone with rich praise Kl Rahul for playing well at no. 6 at ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and said:
“(on KL) a very solid mind, never overwhelmed by pressing it around it, it is Resaon who we wanted to have in the middle phase, there is little calm when he hits and chooses a real shot to play in the situation, he gives freedom to others to play freely like Hardik.”
Rohit Sharma signed, speaking of the mysterious Spinner Varun Chakravarthy, which he proved to have changed India the game in the competition and selected 9 Wickske. He stated:

First, hitting, India faced early failures, losing three shots within seven accessories while Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli went cheaply.
Then, Star Batter Shreyas Iyer (79 off 98) united forces with a comprehensive Axar patella (42 off 61) to take India to recovery. The duo struck well and stuck a key stand for 98 runners who pushed Kiwis on the back of his leg for a while.
After Iyer and Axar came out, Hardik Pandya came with a good 45 run of 45 balls to help India help with a total of 249/9 in his 50 accessories.
While defending the result, the decision of India to play four Spinners proved to be correct as they stifled the flow of running and did not allow Black Caps to achieve quickly.
Mystery Spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the star of the show while registering figures with winning matches 5/42. He released Will Young, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner and Matt Henry.
