President Donald Trump signed an executive command on Thursday creating a strategic Bitcoin Book, commemorating a great shift in the American policy of digital assets.
Crypto and Ai Czar David Sacks, Ventur Venture Capitalist Silicon Valley, Silicon Valley, wrote in a post on x That the reserve will be funded solely by Bitcoin seized in cases of criminal and civic seizures, ensuring that taxpayers have no financial burden.
According to estimates, the US government controls approximately 200,000 bitcoins, although a complete audit has never been carried out. Trump’s command orders the comprehensive accounting of federal digital assets and forbids the sale of bitcoin from the reserve, positioning it as a permanent trade of value.
In addition, the command establishes the American digital supply of assets, operated by the Ministry of Finance to hold the other seized cryptocurrency currency.
Sacks praised the decision, calling it a turning point in becoming a “cryptocurrency capital of the world.” He had previously noted that the US lost more than $ 17 billion in potential values by selling a seized Bitcoin premature.
Scott Bessent Treasury Secretary and the Minister of Trade Howard Lutnick will monitor the further development of politics, with an emphasis on the strategies of acquiring a neutral budget for Bitcoin, according to Sacks.
