Rajeev Shukla rejected the concern because India received the advantage by playing all her matches in Dubai, stating that the team rely on performance rather than conditions. In an interview with reporters, Shukla said that it was agreed that the matches aimed at India would be held in Dubai during the ICC meeting.

“When that decision is made during the ICC meeting, it was decided that in Dubai he would play matches aimed at India, while the remaining games would be played in Dubai,” said Shukla as he spoke with the media at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.

“So it’s not a fair or dishonest, and the Indian team of the cricket does not play depending on the fields. There are also different types of terrain in Dubai Groun. India plays on performance, players play on their skills, not based on the field,” he added.

The decision is in the hands of the Government – Rajeev Shukla

Rajeev Shukla also shared his thoughts on the possibility of India and Pakistan, which continue their bilateral cricket in a neutral place, adding that the decision is in the hands of the Indian government. Shukla added that bilateral series should take place in India or Pakistan and not in neutral places.

“As for the bilateral crickets between India and Pakistan, the decision is in the hands of the Government. Whatever the Government of India tells us, we will go through, “Shukla said.

“Furthermore, this is the policy of BCCI and I suppose it would be the same for PCB, as any bilateral game should happen on the ground any of the two countries. This should not take place in a neutral place, it is a consistent BCCI policy,” he added.
