Chelsea Women 3 – 1 Women Leicester

Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Women’s Super League with a 3-1 win against Leicester City in Kingsmeadow.
Side Sonia Bompastor has now opened a gap of eight points at Manchester United in second place after the main coach admitted before her team was “desperate” that he enchanted because of their mistakes in drawing 2-2 against Brighton three days ago.
Catarina Macario was one of the five changes made in the evening and it was a dismissed free kick that went into it to give Blues early lead (8).
After a latestial incentive from Leicester in the first half, Chelsea added his second well-treated move that rounded up Aggie Bever-Jones, 51, but visitors immediately answered when Yuka Momiki got into the box and raised his effort over the head of Hannah Hampton.
These were two goals from an immense quality in the distance of five minutes after the smart return of Mayra Ramirez accelerated the movement of the Chelsea team before Momiki’s splendor sustained the domestic audience.
Leicester continued to ask questions about Chelsea, but all the nerves got rid of when Erin Cuthbert replaced a third (87) to sealed all three points, a few moments after the midfielder pulled a cross from the range with a strike from a similar distance.
The Bompastor -‘side side has a clear daylight at the top of the table and imprinting its name on the trophy, the fourth season in a row, it seems inevitable.
Bompastor: I expected this reaction after Brighton
Chelsea Main coach Sonia Bompastor said Sky Sports::
“When you drop points, the reaction is important, but I expected it. I wanted to quickly score a goal in the game and we had a lot of opportunities.
“We should be more clinical. When we were worse than 2-0, we can’t admit the goal we acknowledged. Sometimes that happens.
“You have to control more things and we gave them a goal. I don’t think it’s in terms of confidence, sometimes we’re just more fluid.
“I’m not too worried. We have big games. I have a depth in my composition and it is nice to rotate it, it gives the players the opportunity to show their quality, but we may lose some quality.
“We could have done much better than where we are, in terms of results. We are ready, mentally and physically. We look forward to those moments [the final stretch]. “
