The use of rape as a war weapon was discovered in the midst of a great conflict. UN Children’s Agency investigators say hundreds of girls and boys, some not one year, more than a dozen under the age of five, are terribly abused by armed men in the civil war of Sudan. Both the army and the RSF paramilos have been charged with crimes, adding a terrible new dimension to the brutal war, which has sought tens of thousands of lives since April.
