Trump’s administration quietly explained the directive that encouraged the shooting of tens of thousands of government workers after the release sowed chaos across the country.

Those released in recent weeks include civilian staff in the Ministry of Defense, employees working on veterans and workers in charge of protecting US nuclear stocks.
On Tuesday, the minutes appeared, saying, “Keep in mind that, with this memorandum, the OPM does not direct agencies to take any special actions based on performance regarding trial employees.” OPM added that some agencies had “responsibility for such staff”.
The office refused to comment on the change. The person familiar with the OPM decision said it was always at agencies to determine whether to release employees, and the editing was conceived as clarification “in the light of a recent court order and some public misinformation.”
The new message came after the federal judge forbade OPM last week to release probationary workers on certain government departments, explaining that the office “has no government under any Statute in the history of the employment and release of employees in another agency.”
Judge William Alsup said there is a “mountain evidence” that the Memorandum of OPM is taken as a directive, not the mere guidance.
Alsup also reiterated that “the constant, massive abolition of trial employees in the Federal Government agencies had sown significant chaos.”
He cited the abolition of more than 1,000 employees at the Veterans’ Department, who “crippled the administration of the agency’s crisis line”, which offers, among other things, an ambulance to those who think about suicide or self -grief.
Although Alsup did not order agencies to re -establish those already fired, some departments have already started doing so. Some trial employees dismissed from the National Science Foundation last month began to repeat themselves on Monday, the agency statement said.
The US government was also forced last month to begin employees of the National Nuclear Security Administration.
The editing of the memorandum was made for several hours before Trump was supposed to give his Union’s Congress State. Many Democrats said they would bring federal workers dismissed to the event.
