Tottenham are now in internal talks to sign the £202k-p/w ace in January
Tottenham Hotspur now they are conducting internal negotiations regarding the appointment of a new striker for Ange Postecoglou this January as they look to strengthen their ranks in the hope of improving in the second half Premier League campaign.
Tottenham lose again
After illness and injury ravaged the Tottenham squad, the Lilywhites suffered another Premier League defeat at home, with Newcastle beating them 2-1.
Despite an early goal from Spurs’ Dominic Solanke, goals from Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon proved enough for Eddie Howe’s side to escape north London with all three points and condemn Tottenham to a 10th league defeat in just 20 games.
Without key men across the pitch, Postecoglou’s side have already moved to sign a new goalkeeper in this transfer window and are likely to strengthen further and are thought to targeting the defender and forward this window.
Both Richarlison and Wilson Odobert have been sidelined for much of the season, leaving Postecoglou with few options in attack, something which has resulted in Timo Werner continuing to start despite a public sacking by the Spurs boss.

Postecoglou called his performances “unacceptable” after replacing him at half-time in the 1-1 Europa League draw against Rangers just under a month ago, but the German has featured in every game since, either as a substitute or a starter.
Fresh blood is clearly needed in attack, as Heung-Min Son has seen his form fall off a cliff so far this campaign and Dejan Kulusevski is preferred in central areas by the Tottenham boss. There have now been discussions about a potential new addition to their front line.
Tottenham are conducting internal negotiations over the striker
That’s according to Ben Jacobs, who relays it Tottenham held internal negotiations to sign PSG talent Randal Kolo Muani this January after The player’s camp contacted Spurs last month.
Unwanted by the French champions, it was previously reported Kolo Muani offered himself to the Lilywhitsbut it now appears to be an option Spurs are taking seriously.
Jacobs claims that the French international is expected to leave PSG in January and that “several clubs across Europe are interested”. One of them is Postecoglou’s side, which internally “discussed” the deal, although it is emphasized that “they will not make an approach yet”.
It adds that PSG are “open to a loan, but ideally with a commitment”, while “the French champions prefer a permanent move”, something which seems highly unlikely in January given the price likely to be required to sell him plus his hefty He earns £202,000 a week in the capital of France.

Although things have not gone well for Kolo Muani since his lucrative move to PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt, he remains a key part of the French national team and is highly regarded by his teammates.
Indeed, the former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi placed him among the best strikers in Europeexplaining that “Randal has qualities. The confident Randal is one of the best strikers in Europe. I hope he gets a lot more time because he will help them a lot more.”
Can Tottenham be the side to deliver that trust and reap the rewards?
