Keyshawn Davis’ Gervont Davis fixation: Avoiding top challengers and looking for shortcuts to a star
Keyshawn Davis seemed to be pleased with the reaction to the WBA champion in the lightweight category of Gervont Davis 12. The majority of the majority draw against Lamont Roach last Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Davis sounds like a typically spoiled brother, who has been his own way all his life, and cannot bear it when a person let him know that he is not interested. Tank gave Keyshawn “get lost” this week, telling him to fight his “brother” of Shakur Stevenson, and he would fight the winner. He knows well that Keyshaww would never do that. So, tactically blew him.
WBO champion in the lightweight category Keyshawn recently said he would stop calling Tank Davis, but returns again. Keyshawn believes he has a more chance of fighting the tank and beat him now when he gets out of the draw.
Real rivals
He sounds confused and missing his confidence to take over the killer to build himself, instead of watching to get into the fight. Keyshawn did not fight with good enough opposition to fight the thin.
The way he persecutes gervont looks unhealthy. If he believed in himself, he would have started Gauntlet against these killers:
- Andy Cruz
- Ernesto Mercado
- Gary Antuanne Russell
- Jaron ‘boots’ Ennis
- Vergil Ortiz Jr
- Janibel Alimkhanuly
This could change quickly if Keyshawn took over four good fighters and beat them, but he is a ‘businessman’ and transferred all the necessary fights. In other words, Keyshawn just wants to get his tank to fight on a silver tray after defeating 13 exfoliants and hunting him day and night.
Tenk: Impossible?
“If you give me or before their rematch, I’m their rematch,” Keyshawn Davis said on Social mediaTalking about last Saturday night, Gervont Davis Vs. Lamont Roach. “I want one of them. There’s no one. Man, I’m a world champion now,” Keyshawn said about him, realizing it was a race against time.
“I am the best at 135. Fighting [Tank vs. Roach] He said almost everything. Now is a different conversation when you add a ‘businessman’ [Keyshawn’s nickname that he’s given to himself] vs. Gervont. I pierce. Any of these guys, I knock them. “
Tank will not fight Keyshawn. He has to give up that hopeless dream because it sounds like someone who is obsessed and will not let him go.
Norfolk, the native of Virginia Keyshawn, should not be tank Davis to fight his salary if he only fought against those four to turn into a PPV star without reinforcement. Obviously Keyshaww would probably lose all four, but just imagine he won? The best rank would not have an original star.
Krunk with weight
Keyshawn desperately wants to fight big money against Tank Davis or Roach, because he knows he can’t continue to expel from medium weight to make a limitation of 135 pounds much longer. It is huge for a slight division, and there are not many sustainable fighters who are willing to fight against someone of his size for the money offered.
Only two or three competitors would bring Keyshawn any money, and none of them would be willing to fight against what they will be offered. He is not an attraction of PPV, which means that his promoters in Top Rank should overpay the opponent and probably lose a lot of money to get someone for Keyshawn.
He can’t get fighters he wants, and he can’t make 135 much before he is forced to move up to 147, 154 or 160. Shift up to 140 will not be enough. This is literally a race against time for monstrously huge Keyshawn.
Keyshaww’s wish list
Gervont Davis
Lamont Roach
Isaac Cruz
Frank Martin
Vasiliy Lomachenko
William Zeped
Keyshawn can only get Andy CruzBut he doesn’t want to fight him because he would lose. Cuban talent has already hit him four times, and he doesn’t want a fifth defeat.
