Stand-up comic book David Lucas believes that a good authentic comedy can bring healing to people like spiritual words of a religious leader.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, The rise comedian described that, although he had a traditional upbringing that could make him a congregation leader, he found the ability to bring to people another type of healing through his dull comedy style.
He described his comedy as “in a sense, preaching and healing to many people who go through different periods of their lives.”

Macon, a native of Georgia, talked about growing up with a single mom and his strict religious grandfather as a father.
“Yes, I grew up in Macon, Georgia and I grew up with, you know, the traditional household of the southern Baptist. My grandfather was very strict,” he said.
Lucas mentioned that his grandfather would take him to the “Church all the time”, joking that it was as if his grandfather was preparing him for religious life.
“So it’s crazy that I showed myself that because it seems like he was preparing me to be a kind of preacher,” he said.
Like a preacher who help souls to move the spiritual darkness, Lucas believes to comedians like him, Joe Rogan And others help people see the truth in an era where traditional media is widely discredited.
