Beau Greaves: Luke Humphories predicts that the champion of the Darts woman will be in the Premier League in five years | News Darts
Luke Humphries predicted that Beau Greaves would compete in the Premier League darts in five years after their exciting Battle of the UK.
Women’s world no. 1 Greaves gave Humphory on Friday in his match in the fourth round and led 7-5, but lost his next five legs to lose 10-7.
The 21-year-old has already made history by becoming the first female player to win three matches in Darts’s FA Cup event, and random drawings take place after each round.
“She belongs to the great darts. Obviously a massive advocate of a women’s game,” Humphories said ITV4.
“The game of ladies has grown massively and this is because of her, but she belongs in this environment.
“She really tested me there and if we were in the Premier League match, she would beat me. It’s just a time to give.
“Maybe in five years, I think he’ll be in the Premier League and I think he’s currently a Top-64 player in the world, but I don’t want to put pressure on her.
“Let him continue to do what he does, and for the next few years he will discover that he has a level that can suit me, Luke [Littler] And Michael [van Gerwen] So, he has a huge future in front of him.
“She’s still very young, but if you can test me and I didn’t play too badly there, it shows that she got scissors in a long time and over the next few years I am sure I will share a lot with her with her.”
Greaves: Playing Humphories will bring me a long way
Greaves made an impressive beginning of 2025, despite missing PDC Tour Card in Q-School, because he is at the top of Challenger tour, winning more events and development, ladder.
She decided not to play on PDC World Darts Championship in December, instead of deciding to defend the female title on the lake, which she successfully did.
In November last year, Greaves revealed that she was open to playing men more often after she felt like her game had become “stale”.
Her defeat of Humphories has shown that she can compete with Darts’s best players, which is a long -term goal.
“I started well, then I gave up a little, but that’s what I try to work on, to be better in my game and more consistent than those longer formats, but what experience,” Greaves said.
“Playing someone like Luke is just amazing for me and my game. It will bring me a long way and although I lost, I’m very pleased.”
