Cowboys fan punctured in the head by an accident on the kickoff in the last game of the season
Dallas Cowboys-Commanders from Washington The Week 18 game was a thriller all the way, but not every play had the best execution.
Just ask cowboys cheerleaders.
Brandon Aubrey, Dallas’ reliable shooter, was preparing for the kickoff, which is about routine given his position in the league.

But Aubrey’s attempt to hit the ball downfield fell short, as it was promptly thrown out of bounds in left field, and one Cowboys cheerleader was unfortunate enough to receive it.
After an NFL cameraman unable to catch the ball with one hand, she hit the cheerleader in the back of the head, sending her to the ground in a surprising incident.
Social media users suspect the ball was hit by Michelle Siemienowski, a first-year Dallas cheerleader.

Luckily, she got back to her feet and seemed to be laughing about the situation after it happened.
The rest of her cheerleading squad made sure to check on her, as did Commanders player Tress Way, who was in the area.
Siemienowski joined the fan team in July, writing on Instagram that “it has been my dream since I can remember” to be part of a famous team.
“This has been the most life-changing experience for me, but this is just the beginning. I’m so grateful to be able to say I’ve achieved my dreams and earned my boots!”
After play resumed following the incident, the Cowboys found themselves looking to finish the season on a high, but the Commanders had other things in mind.
Marcus Mariota, who replaced Jayden Daniels at quarterback for the team’s playoff berth, knew a potential pick was at stake when he got the ball with just over three minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Down by three points, Washington wasn’t just thinking about the game-tying field goal as Mariota found himself with 2nd-and-goal from the Dallas 5-yard line and he threw a fade to Terry McLaurin on the outside.
McLaurin leapt into the air and grabbed the ball, keeping both feet in bounds to win the game on the final play of the scrimmage.

As a result, the Commanders finished the season with a 12-5 record, although the Philadelphia Eagles won the division with a 14-3 record. But the win gave them the No. 6 seed instead of the No. 7 seed, which would have to travel to Philadelphia to face those Eagles in the wild-card round.
Meanwhile, Dallas finishes the season 7-10.
