On Friday, the jury condemned the Illinois renters in the 2023 stitches that captured the life of a six -year -old Palestinian American boy, Wadee Alfayoumi, and left his mother critically injured.

Alfayoumi’s mother, Hanan Shahin, said the Czuba police had been upset about October 7, 2023, a terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel and by the war and attacked her and her son on October 14, after asking him to “pray for peace.”

The war began only a week before the attack, October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked South Israel.

State envoy Abdelnasser Rashid, D-Bridgeview, the first Palestinian American to serve in the state legislative body, announced a statement in which he described the case as a “hose”.
“My heart is going to the Wadee Alfayoumi family today,” Rashid said. “The jury was right to declare Joseph Czuba guilty of all charges, including crimes of murder and hatred.”
