King Charles calls Trump on an unprecedented 2. State Visit to the UK – National


US President Donald Trump accepted the invitation to attend the officer state visit with King Charles IIIwhich was handed over to him in a letter to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Traditionally, second-day US presidents who have already visited a national visit-TRUMP formally met with Queen Elizabeth II 2019 asked for tea or lunch with a monarchy to Windsor Castle.

On Thursday, Trump received a “historic” second invitation during a meeting at the White House with Starmer, which made him the only chosen political leader lately handed over to him by two British monarchy.

“This is really special, this has never happened before, this is unprecedented,” Starmer told the President.

After receiving the invitation, Trump kept him on the cameras inside the oval office.

In it, the king asked to meet with the president in Dumfries House, a Palacia estate in Scotland or Balmoral, one of the royal family homes, and suggested plans to review the couple for a more extravagant visit.

The letter was partly: “I can only say that it would be … pleasure expanding that invitation once again, hoping that … some phase to visit Turnberry and a tour of a relatively close neighbor may not cause you too much inconvenience. The alternative could be to visit Balmoral.”

“In addition to being an opportunity to discuss a wide range of questions from mutual interest, she would also offer a valuable opportunity to plan a historic second state visit to the United Kingdom,” continued in the letter.

“That way, working together, I know that we will further improve a special relationship between our two countries, of which we are both so proud,” he concluded.

Starmer said that the call “symbolizes the power of relationships” between the UK and the USA, before asking Trump if he would accept the king’s “very special” offer.

“The answer is,” the president replied.

Hand -signed correspondence comes just over a month after King to Trump sent a written congratulations on the eve of his inauguration.
