Jason Gillespie shared his thoughts on discussing the ‘unjust advantage’ for Team India in the current ICC champion trophy 2025. Gillespie said India had an advantage by playing only in one place, which introduces them to the conditions at the cricket stadium in Dubai.
India began its campaign of the Trophy 2025 champion with consecutive victories over Bangladesh and Pakistan within four days. In an interview with Times of India, Jason Gillespie admitted that India had an advantage in the champion trophy because they play all their games in Dubai. He stated that India chose its team based on this advantage, which allocates them from other competitors.
“India has an advantage because playing only in Dubai introduces them to WICKET and conditions, and they have chosen their squad accordingly. Otherwise, yes, the champion trophy means a lot to the players,” said Gillespie the Times of India.
India will play their semi -final match in the Dubai champion trophy, whether they ended up on the first or second in Group A. Although Pakistan is the official host of the tournament, the finals will be held in Dubai if India qualifies for the conflict of the title.

Asked that India was the favorites to win the champion trophy, Jason Gillespie said that men in blue would be difficult to win. However, he stated that he would be careful about Australia as the main threat.
“They are already in the semi -final … India will be hard to win. It will be afraid of Australia,” Jason Gillespie said.
Other teams must travel to Pakistan and then to Dubai for their matches. Physical and mental tolls of permanent trip can affect players. Only India enjoys these benefits, while their competitors must adapt to different places and conditions.
