Luke Humphories: World No 1 believes that the victory of Littler Littler in the Premier League gives confidence to win the UK Open | News Darts

Luke Humphories believes that his first Premier League win over Luke Littler will give four finals to win the UK this weekend.
Humphries earned his first victory in the Premier League over Littler in the seventh attempt at night at the Four final at Exeter, further expired his lead at the top of Table 2025.
During his three games, Littler threw a stunning 19 maximum, although his level fell in the final against the world no. 1, who fully took advantage of the advantage and saw himself.
Humphries will head to Minehead for UK Open, who will see how the owners of PDC Tour Card compete in three days of action, together with the qualifiers for PDC Amatera and top players from 2024.
Humphories enters the UK in the fourth round, along with the other big names such as Peter Wright, Danny Noppert, James Wade and Gary Anderson, and believes that the victory against Littler in the Premier League will only help increase his chances on Sunday with another Major in his name.
“I felt like a busy job, but I felt well, I felt like my game was a good way after I was fighting,” Humphories said.
“My finish was good in moments and it was not so good at other times.
“It’s a great start. I’d love to win the group, that’s the beginning of dreams and I have to keep pushing. This will give me confidence.
“I did a lot of things tonight. I have a great opportunity to win another major and this victory will give me.”
This means that Humphories’ points pass through the first four weeks now sitting with 15, seven obviously from Littler in the second, with the only second night winner of 2025, Gerwyn Price, in third place in seven, after his quarterfinal exit at Exeter. Michael Van Gerwen makes the first four, in six points, despite the fact that he also lost the opener at night four.
“Littler played fantastic tonight, I didn’t play so great in the finals and managed to put my leg on the gas right at the end of my leg,” Humphories added.
“It’s the first time I’ve beat him up in the Premier League. It’s getting harder every time you lose.
“In Glasgow, I had this problem with my finger, this time I felt a little fresh and nothing could stop me.
“My finish is what helped me tonight.”
‘It’s hard to see Humphries stop’
Sky Sports Darts’ John Parta believes that the confidence that Humphories will come from his victory in the Premier League will help to go forward.
“It was the rear end where he was without mistakes. He had quality initial matches, which we could see, he was well focused and you admire that,” Parti said.
“He proved that tonight he would build his confidence.
“Going forward, it’s hard to see him stopping.
“Price looked good last week and Humphories dealt with the team.
“Humphries tonight has used so much opportunity and should be proud ahead.
“Humphories knows who he is as a player and believes he will spend it.”
