Gene Hackman, an intense character actor who won two Oscars in more than 60-year-old career, was found dead on Wednesday with his wife, classic pianist Betsy Arakawa and their dog at home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Authorities do not doubt a light game, but they did not give the cause of death.
