The number of death deaths from a collision in Sudanese military aircraft in the town of Omdurman increased to at least 46 people, including women and children, on Wednesday, one of the most deadly aircraft in northeast African nation In the last two decades.

In a statement, the army announced that the plane had crashed as it flew from the Wadi Sayidan air base north of Omdurman, the sister -in -law of the capital, Khartoum.
The collision also damaged numerous houses in the Karrara County in Omdurman, the media office said.
The army said earlier that staff and civilians were killed in the collision, but did not give the figures. It was not said what caused the fall.

The Ministry of Health said that some bodies were transferred to the hospital in Omdurman.
Among the dead were high military officers, including General Bahr Ahmed Bahr and Lieutenant of Ayoub, as well as plane crews, according to a military official.
The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to talk about the matter, said the dead include women and children, among them five siblings.
