Slot Liverpool Arne has questioned the work speed of Darwin Nunez and says that “he cannot accept if the player does not do everything.”
Slot spoke of his frustration with Nunez’s reduced behavior after a late Miss Uruguayan attacker at Aston Vili last week, but now he admitted that he was also dissatisfied with his effort in the previous match with Wolves.
Nunez was a replacement of the second half in both games, and he will probably be among the substitutes tonight, when Liverpool hosted Newcastle on Anfield.

“I helped him telling him that you could miss the opportunity,” Slot said, explaining his remarks after the match in the villa.
“I wasn’t just difficult for him. But for the second time in a row, I was not satisfied with his work effort, against Wolves and against the villa.
“I can’t accept if the player doesn’t. That’s clear. I can accept it once, but there were a little too much twice. So I addressed it.
“If you miss the opportunity, you have to fight for it. I’m not saying he didn’t do it at all, but it wasn’t the usual Darwin, the one who lovers love. It’s mostly because it always works so hard.”
Slot, however, said Nunez was “amazing” in training on Monday while trying to regain a loan with the manager.
