Delhi Capitals made a brave move by bringing a foreign expertise to their coaching placement ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Delhi Capitals split with Australian legend Ricky Pontint after last season and entered the local coaching staff.
After the relocation of Ricky Ponting to Punjab Kings (PBKS), Delhi Capitals added a fresh international touch to his rear of the staff by the appointment of Matthew Motta for a new auxiliary coach ahead of the upcoming IPL 2025, starting on March 22.

Mott brings its great coaching experience in the franchise based in Delhi. Former England coach will now collaborate with Hemang Badani and Venugopal Raom in DC.
