The Bangladesh National Cricket team is convinced that the older player Mahmudullah will be available for the rest of the ICC champion of the Trophy 2025 ICC champion. The team administration mentioned that the comprehensive recovery is recovering well, and the final decision on its availability will be made after its last practice session.

Mahmudullah is expected, who has achieved four fifties in the last four PODs, will enter directly in XI. It was expected to replace one of Jacker Ali or Towhid Hridoy in XI, but with both players who scored in the first game, now it is expected to replace someone from the first three or Mushfiquur Rahim in a match against New Zealand.
