New La da Hochman does not support the overturning belief about the murder of the Menndez brothers

The newly elected District Prosecutor Los Angeles Nathan Hochman said on Friday that he had asked the court to reject the Menendez brothers’ request for a new trial.
This is coming a few months after former District Attorney George Gascon cited new evidence in the form of a letter suggesting that their father may have abused the brothers as a reason for a new trial.

Hochman quoted the evidence questions, claiming that this did not satisfy the standard for a new trial.
Lyle and Erik Menendez were found guilty of killing their parents in 1989 and sentenced to life in prison without conditional freedom.
