Glencore considers that he considered his primary list in the UK in favor of New York or another place where he could “get the right assessment” in a potential shot at the London stock market, which hit a number of high profiles departures.
Executive director Gary Nagle said the company assesses whether other exchanges are “better suitable for the trade of our securities”.
“We want to ensure that our securities are traded on the correct exchange, where we can get the correct assessment,” he said on a call on Wednesday morning. “If there is better and they include the characters of the New York Stock Exchange, we have to consider it.”
The departure of FTSE 100 would be a blow to the London Stock Exchange, which hit a series of departures of resources companies complaining of low values.
