Costa Rica announced on Monday that this week would receive a flight from the United States, which carried 200 migrants from Central Asia and India, making it another nation in Central America to accept deportation from distant countries that have illegally transferred to the United States.

In her announcement on Monday, the Costa Rica government said the first group of deported will arrive on a commercial flight on Wednesday afternoon.
Costa Rica said that her territory “would serve as a bridge” for the return of migrants to their country of origin and that the reputation process “will be completely funded by the US Government, under the supervision of the International Migration Organization,” and the United Nations Agency for which the Costa Rica said it would be responsible for taking care of migrants during their stay in the country. Panama described a similar procedure for deported by the United States there.
The UN Costa Rare agency representatives did not immediately respond to the commentary request.
After arriving at the main airport serving San José, the capital, the deports will be transported to the migrant shelter in Canton Cornerores, in the south of the country, Kostarica said.
Costa Rica officials did not say how many migrants expect the United States to send or how long they will stay in Costa Rica before sending them to their country of origin.
