Archaeologists are pushing for renewing Syrian war heritage

Experts return to the Syrian war heritage, hoping to lay them the foundations for the renovation and revival of tourism, which they say could provide an much needed incentive for a decimated economy of the country after almost 14 years of war. One of the six UNESCO Syrian sites, the ancient city of Palmyra used to be the key center of Silk Road network that connected Roman and Partar Empires with Asia.
