“Biden’s plan was just, you know, kill the hens, and they spent billions of dollars just randomly killing chickens on the rim where they found a sick chicken,” he said.
Hassett said that the plan on which he works at Trump’s administration “had better ways with biological safety and medication and so on to ensure that the rim does not have to kill the chickens.”

“So to have a smart perimeter is what we are working on and finishing ideas about how to do it with the best scientists in the Government,” Hassett said. “And that’s a kind of thing that should happen a year ago, and if it were, then the prices of eggs would be, you know, much better than now.”
Hassett also turned “very big” the problem of inflation, which he attributed to former President Joe Biden.

“We saw that consumer prices were coming out and we found that the stagflation created by President Biden’s policies was very worse than we thought,” Hassett said. “Over the last three months, in all goods, including eggs, the average inflation rate was 4.6%, far beyond the goal and acceleration at the end of the biden term.”
