“In these divisions and worrying times, his voice needs more than ever – because his moral clarity, experience and guided by what is first and foremost for people,” Cuomo wrote on Saturday.
“Today, in these insecure times, and after more than four decades of friendship and advice, I thank him for his faith in me and for the advice, trust and trust,” Cuomo said. “His feelings are humble and deeply meaningful.”

McCall, a black older statesman who once ran in a disputed gubernational primary basic level against Cuomo in 2002, included Adams, who is the second black Mayor of New York. McCall approved the Mayor of Adam’s campaign in 2021.
