Dead Man from California, parts of the car found 1,000 feet below the southern edge of Grand Canyon
Search crews recently found the body of a California man in Grand Canyon National Park.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was found on February 10 near the Yavavapai Geology Museum, a spokesman for the National Service said.
At about 8 am, the park received a report on a broken rock wall and scattered parts of the car east of the museum.

During the air examination Grand Canyon Air Force, the crews found a vehicle and a 20-year-old man 1,000 feet below the rim, according to officials.
A team of four answers, with the help of aviation, successfully recovered the body.
Usually, between 10 and 15 deaths are reported in the park every season.

“The crew trail from the holding department will repair the damaged rock wall near the Yavapai Geology Museum in the coming days,” the Park official wrote in a statement Fox News Digital.
Visitors should expect a temporary bypass around the work area until February 26.

The investigation is ongoing coordination with the Office of the Coconino County Medical examiner.
