Suspecting for poisoning Christmas cakes was found dead in a prison cell

The Brazilian woman suspected of poisoning the family of her husband with a Christmas cake on Arsen was found dead in her prison cell in what the police think is most likely suicide.

Deise Moura Dos Anjos, 42, has been in early detention since January, after prosecutors accused her of killing on Christmas Eve three relatives and an attempt to kill three more.

The victims ate everything from the cake, which found that forensic experts were roasted with flour -polluted deadly poisons.

Police also investigated if she might have killed her mother -in -law, who died in September.

Forensic experts who exhumed his body found a high level of Arsenic, which made them believe that he was poisoned too.

Moura Dos Anjos denied any abuse, but the head of the local police of Cléber Dos Santos Lima told reporters last month that “she was sure she was investigating, bought (…) and using the poison to kill her victims.”

He added that police found evidence showing that she had bought Arsen in four separate opportunities.

Investigators have tested many food products at the Moura Dos Anjos House, where six victims have become ill to find the source of poisoning.

Eventually, they found a high level or arsenic in flour-to-a-to-which some of the Mori dos anjos, desired dos anjos, baked a Christmas cake.

While she wanted a dos anjos dishes from the cake and was seriously ill, the police quickly excluded her as a suspect even though she prepared the cake.

Dos Anjos survived, but two of her sisters and one of her nephews died.

Her 10-year-old grandson and husband of one of her sisters were also among those who were poisoned but recovered.
