Singer ‘American Pie’ don McLean critically toward ‘very bad lyrical writing’ in modern music

Singer “American Pie” Don McLean Not too impressed with modern texts of texts.
On the red carpet at Movieguide awards, the musician said Fox News Digital. The biggest change he saw during his career is “very bad lyric writing and without melodies. Two important things in song, texts and melody.”
McLean remained a fertile artist and performer, re-releasing three of his albums, “Believers”, “Chain Lightning” and “Prime Time”, on vinyl and CD, as well as release of court books and the continuation of the tour.

“I got tons of things. I took a little rest and I would start to roll somewhere around this summer, then go, really go through the next year,” he said.
The 79-year-old also recently marked the 66th anniversary of “The Day The Music Died”, when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and JP “Big Bopper” killed in a plane crash.

But McLean says he never “planned” to take off the song.

He continued, “and a few years after that, all these radio stations began to go to the elderly, playing songs from the 50s and 1960s, because they realized how many people missed this music. Now they miss more, I’m sure.”

McLean honored the passage of such Music legends through the song and the recognition of what became a “unofficial holiday.”
“Then the whole” day when the music died “started about 10 years ago. I guess. It’s somehow unofficial holiday to commemorate this festive occasion, and the song, of course, gave that moment in a certain way,” he explained.

“I was trying to write a big song about America, and that’s how it all happened, but again, it all happened from people,” he added.
McLean can be seen presenting the best category of documentary films at Movieguide awards, which aired on March 6th in a large American family.
