Co -owner Delhi Capitals GMR Group gains 49% stake in the hundredth of southern locks
GMR Group, co -owners of the Indian Premier League franchise (IPL) Delhi Capitals, successfully secured a stake in Southern Brave in the hundredth. With the GMR Group Agreement, the procedure of the Cricket of England and Wales (ECB) was reportedly completed by the capital of capital.
As expected, the GMR Group acquired 49% of the share offered by the Cricket of England and Wales (ECB) at Southern Brave. Since Hampshire already has a 51% stake approved by the ECB, this contract will provide them with complete control of the southern brave franchise after all formalities have been completed.

ECB also attracted international investors with Knighthead Capital (Birmingham Phoenix), Sanjay Govil (Welsh Fire), a Consortium in the Silicon Valley (London Spirit) and Cain International (Trent Rockets) who joined IPL owners to run into tournament with 100 balls.
Cain International Buying the Trent Rockets share in a hundred
Meanwhile, the owner of Chelsea Todd Boehly bought a 49% stake in the franchise hundreds, Trent Rockets. Investment, worth just under £ 40m, will be made through Cain International, a company faced by Boehly and British businessmen Jonathan Goldstein.
This contract brings the overall value of the Trent Rockets franchise to £ 79 million. Nottinghamshire will retain majority control with 51% ownership and continue to host a team on the iconic Trent bridge. On the other hand, Reliance Industries Limited bought a 49% stake in an oval Invincibles for £ 60m, and the Crickket Club district of Surrey (SCCC) retained a majority stake from 51% to its Worldwide branch. They also own teams in SA20 in southern Africa and Ilt20 of UAE.
Total Assessment of Hundred Overwhelms £ 900 million
Significantly, the total estimate of eight franchises is now more than £ 900 million. The GMR Group reportedly wanted to cooperate with other investors to join their investment in the southern lock franchise in a 100 ball tournament.
Earlier, Richard Thompson, President of the ECB, said he did not want a hundred to become a “IPL download”, so now he should be pleased with how things were going on in the offer process. The ECB now has four IPL – Kirmingham Phoenix investors (Knighthead Capital), Welsh Fire (Tech Entrepreneur Sanjay Govil), London Spirit (Consortium of the Silicon Valley) and Trent Rockets (Cain) – all of whom have attracted investments on the other hand.
