Gerwyn Price beat Luke Littlel on the way to the title of player championship in Wigan | News Darts
Gerwyn Price secured his first PDC title in more than a year with an exciting victory of 8-7 over Chris Dobey on Tuesday in the players of the players of two finals.
Price canceled a 6-3 deficit to deny his Dobey Premier League rival in the high quality finals in Wigan, winning five of the last six legs to achieve his first protore crown of November 2023.

After a routine victory over his partner in the Clayton World Cup, Price produced a 14-core backwards to beat Martin Schindler 6-4, defying an average of Tona Plus from the German no. 1.
The 2021 world champion then defeated the epic conflict of deciding against current World Champion Luke Littler in the last eight, an average of 102 to set up a semi -final showdown with Ryan Searle.
Price continued his march according to the glory with 7-5 successes against Searla, although he seemed to succumb to the inspired Dobey, who led 6-3 at one stage with an average of 106.
However, the Bedlington star stimulated four darts for a 7-3 lead, and the price was duly capitalized after Clutch 78 logged out with a consecutive 14-clerk that split to six per piece.
The 39-year-old continued his charge with the fourth straight foot to run 7-6, and while Dobey hit the decision, Price kept cold in the final stage to reduce the high prize of £ 15,000.
“I think Chris played better than me in that finals, but I hung to the end there,” Price claimed, fresh than arguing that he was his 18th toy of the championship title.
“He was great today. Yesterday I played very well; I’m going back to the best. I enjoy the game more. I think my mentality and a way I think has changed, and that just used me.
“I had a little help with a sports psychologist before the World Cup, which really helped. There is a lot more positivity in my game now, and it seems to work!
“I know how well I play, but when it comes to big games sometimes, I try too hard because I want it too much.
“This is what I needed. We hope that this victory will make things easier, because when you win, you don’t bother too much.”
