US Ministry of Justice tells plaintiffs to give up on the Eric Adams case


The US Ministry of Justice told prosecutors to give up charges of corruption against New York Mayor Eric Adams.

In the record seen by the US news of the BBC CBS, the acting prosecutor’s deputy prosecutor Emil Bove, named President Donald Trump, sent federal prosecutors in southern New York district to end the case.

Adams has been charged with five charges of bribery, conspiracy and breach of funding for a campaign in September. He declared that he was not guilty.

He is accused of accepting illegal campaign and thousands of dollars of luxury travels from Turkish businessmen and officials in exchange for his influence as mayor.
