Pfeiffer confirmed the news about the cast a post she shared on his Instagram in August.

Sheridan will write “The Madison,” which will follow a family of New York natives living in the Madison River Valley in central Montana, according to Paramount Network, via Variety .

The network described “The Madison” as “an honest study of grief and human connection.”

Although the upcoming series is billed as a “spinoff” of “Yellowstone,” Voros told Variety that this series is different from the original western, which starred Kevin Costner.

“It’s a very different story. The common point is the landscape,” she told the newspaper in November.

“We’re in Montana, but it’s seen through a completely different lens. So it feels like another facet of this faceted stone. There are parallels in the scale of the landscape and the place of man in that space, but it’s coming from a completely different point of view.”

In August, Paramount announced that Pfeiffer would take on the lead role in “The Madison.”

“Michelle Pfeiffer is an extraordinary talent who imbues each role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace. She is the perfect anchor in the latest chapter of the ‘Yellowstone’ universe, ‘The Madison,’ from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan,” Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President and chief executive officer of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, he said in a statement to Variety at the time.

In August, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Matthew Fox would star alongside Pfeiffer.

Fox will play Paul, “a confident bachelor who loves the outdoors.”
