Jamie Donley’s Leyton Orient striker says his miracle against Manchester City would have been a computer for more if his side had created a FA Cup.
Donley’s incredible effort on 45 yards will technically fall as his own goal for city goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, but the man who deserves all the merit in Tottenham. His shot flew over the goalkeeper’s head, hit the bar and hit the legs of Ortege before he came in.

League One Side Orient led the Premier League champion for the next 40 minutes before the visitors were killed through the happy Abdukodir Khusan’s goal before a piece of glow of Jack Gralialish and Kevin de Bruyne saw City through 2-1.
Donley said to the BBC: “I thought we went well. We knew it would be a really tough game. I thought we explained ourselves well. It’s disappointing to lose, but I’m proud of boys.”
He added to his goal: “I know I hit a goal well. I knew it fell nicely to me. I saw him from his line and fortunately he came in. It will be a happy moment. It would be much nicer if we had won. It was. disappointing that we lost, but it was a good moment.
“They are a top team, in recent years they haven’t done what they have, but you can see the quality they had.”
Lewis released the city pierced
Rico Lewis, whose shot hit Khusanova before making a mistake of home goalkeeper Josh Keeley and entered Leveler, admitted that City was seriously tested for Brisbane Road.
He said, “The credit for Leyton Orient, they made it difficult for us to play. It’s easy to say it’s harder than you think, but we all know they’re difficult. It’s crowded for that.
“The season didn’t throw out as we wanted. Every game now, as long as we win, it could be a great season for us.”
