Robert Levinson’s Distance: FBI wants information about 2 Iranian officer
FBI posted posters on Tuesday looking for information about Two Higher Iranian Intelligence Officers Involved in the disappearance of retired Special Agent FBI Robert Levinson while the Agency is promised to “retain every Iranian official involved in his abduction.”
Levinson worked as a private investigator when he disappeared in 2007 after traveling to the Iranian island of Kish. Allegedly participated in the unauthorized Mission of the CIA -ei Assumed dead in 2020.
“The FBI remains unwavering in our commitment to bring Bob back to our family,” Sanjay Vimani, a special agent in charge of the FBI Washington Fieldton Fields Department, states. “Our extensive investigation continues to develop new potentials and intelligence, and we will follow all the possibilities for every Iranian official to be involved in his abduction.”
The FBI said that two Iranian officers on posters – Mohammed Baseri and Ahmad Khazai – “allegedly acted as an official of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security during the Bob’s abduction, detention and probable death.”

“For almost 18 years, the Iranian government has denied the knowledge of Bob’s place, despite the high intelligence officers who approved Bob’s abduction and detention and launched a disinformation campaign to reject the guilt from the Iranian regime,” the FBI added.
The Ministry of Finance sanctioned both officers in December 2020.

“According to marking, Baseri is involved in the contradictions within and outside Iran, as well as sensitive investigations related to Iranian national security issues. He directly cooperated with intelligence officers from other countries to harm US interests,” the FBI said. “Khazai brought Mois delegations to other countries to evaluate the security situations.”
