Claress Shields Makes the History of Boxing as the First Women’s undisputed Champion in a heavyweight category
Boxer Claress Shields Made history in the ring on Sunday night.
Shields lowered Danielle Perkins to become the first undisputed champion in the heavyweight category.
She is also the first boxer, male or female, which was an undisputed champion in three different weights in Four -belt era. Shields did this in medium weight and medium weight before this feat.

Perkins was undefeated everything until Shields landed his right hook in the last seconds of the 10th and the last round. That blow, which Perkins lowered a few seconds before heading to the corner on the canvas, spoke history for the shields.
Perkins is now 5-1 for his career with Two knockoutswhile Shields remains undefeated to 16-0 with three knockouts.

After the match, Shields was excited about winning, but she found out she would actually need her shoulder surgery after suffering her injury before the fight. She noticed that she could not raise her left hand earlier in the week.
“I actually think I will have to have surgery on my left hand. Last week I torn off my labrum, so the quarrel almost didn’t happen,” Shields said, via ESPN. “I didn’t want to let the flint, but I really couldn’t use my stitch the way I wanted, but I did the best I could. I went out, I made therapy, and now I think I go to shoulder surgery.”
Shields gave Kudos to Perkins after the game, saying that she was “strong as hell” with his shots in the ring. However, Shields was patient and hit the last second when Perkins’ guard fell.
“My experience and my skills have overcome me and also, I was in a lot of street fights with bigger people and I had to use some of my skills in it today. So when I lowered her in the last round, that’s because she became greedy, “Shields said of her opponent.
Shields landed 29% of its blows on Perkins, as well as 36% of power blows. Perkins landed only 19% of blows.

It was a unanimous decision on the card, because the judges ruled the fight in favor of Shields 97-92, 99-90 and 100-89.
