(Reuters) – Costco salesman on a large (Cost) will increase the salary for most of their workers in US stores in more than $ 30, according to a memorandum sent to employees this week.
The company will increase per payment lesson for its employees over the next three years, and the salary increased by $ 1 to $ 30.20 in the first year and an additional $ 1 in the next two years, the letter said.
The salary increase comes after members of the Costco Teamsters union said earlier this month that they had voted for a strike throughout the country while they entered the final circuit of the interview to reach a new contract before the December 31.
The union, which represents more than 18,000 workers in Costco, said at the time that 85% of its members voted for the approval of the strike.
The bottom of the staff in the scale will also increase 50 cents to $ 20, according to the letter.
