South Korea sees a flourishing at Webtons – short episodic comics designed to read on smartphones. They are extremely popular in the country, where about 35 million people read at least one episode of Webtoon each week. In the midst of this success at home, webtoon creators are now drawing attention to international markets, including countries who speak English and France.
