The wizards had a message about their jumbotron before the game started.

“We are deeply sad last night for the tragedy near Ronald National Airport Reagan Washington,” the statement said. “We expand our thoughts and prayers to these families, loved ones and all those who influenced.

“And we thank all the first answers to their heroic efforts during this huge coordinated effort.”
Jet American Airlines, who transported 60 passengers and four crew members, collided with a military helicopter Black Hawk, who wore three soldiers. All passengers and soldiers of airlines were dead.
At least 14 members of the Skating Community were on the plane. Six people with relationships with Boston skating club were among them.

Washington commanders and Washington nationals also paid tribute to those who lost their lives and showed their support for the first answers that went into action to find potential survivors and recovered bodies from the Potomac River.
