“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with Defense Minister Israel Katza, ordered that the release of terrorists should be released today until the safe exit of our hostages is ensured in the following stages. Israel requires the mediators to see this,” the office noted on the x .
But later it seemed that this question was resolved, stating: “In accordance with the request of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the mediators have transferred an obligation, according to which the release of our hostages that should be published in the following stages was secured.” He added: “Israel insists that the lessons are learned and that strict concern is taken in the following stages regarding the safe return of our hostages.”
Netanyahu indicated that there were “shocking scenes” when hostages were released.
“Given the greatest seriousness, I consider the shocking scenes during the release of our hostages. This is additional evidence of the unimaginable brutality of the Hamas terrorist organization,” Netanyahu noted according to the Prime Minister’s office. “I demand that the mediators are sure that such terrible scenes do not repeat and guarantee the safety of our hostages. Who dares to harm our hostages will pay the price.”
