Tulsi Gabbard is missing critical support for GOP to advance from the Senate Committee

Nomination of the former Democrat representative for the director of the National Intelligence (DNI) President Donald Trump is in danger because it lacks enough Republican support of the Committee, sources confirmed.

Until now, no Trump candidates have been able to progress from their committees.
The Senior Intel Assistant Committee confirmed Fox News Digital that Gabbard currently does not have a majority of his members, who are needed to move to a full Senate.
According to the source, half of the Republicans in the wished Committee are not sold on Trump’s DNA Pick.

Gabbard spokesman told Fox News Digital in a statement: “Anonymous sources will continue to lie and smear to try to overthrow the president’s candidates and undermine the will of the American people, and the media play a role in publishing these lies.
The Senior Assistant Committee has shared that the reasons for the uncertainty of the GOP include her previous section 702, her past meeting with former Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and her last defense of Edward Snowden.
“It’s about judgment,” they said.
Gabbard will probably need every Republican voice to cross the committee, assuming that Democrats will vote against her.

Senator Tom Cotton, R-ARK., Served as chairman of the Committee together with other Republican members of Jim Risch of Idah, Susan Collins of Maine, John Cornyn of Texas, Jerry Moran of Kansas, James Lankford of Oklahoma, Mike Rounds of South Dakote and Todd Young from Indiana.
Lankford recently came out in support of Gabbard after turning her position on the controversial tool for collecting intelligence known as Se 702 on the supervision of foreign intelligence data.
Neither the White House or Cotton’s Office made comments with Fox News Digital on time to post.
Fox News Digital addressed several Republican Senate offices for comment.

As Gabbard’s affirmative fate hangs in balance, there is allegedly the impetus of some Republican senators aligned with Trump to give up the Committee’s rules to open the vote of Gabbard’s nomination, as Politico reported. This would mean that every senatorial voice is available to the public.

The rules of the Intel Committee stipulate that voting is being carried out at a closed meeting, and then the sum is released. The voting is expected to go forward in a closed way, according to the rules.
